Hello Nico,

One of my co workers dogs has gone missing so I am posting this link to the craigslist lost dog ad here on Nico.

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/pet/2553033128.html

We have put up flyers in pet and vet shops. We have gone door to door in a 6 block radius. We are checking the shelters and pound.

The dog has never left before (10 years old been same house for 10 years) but why would someone dog nap a 10 year old dog?

The dog is not microchipped. Any suggestions?

Kids are stupid, they may have stolen your co workers dog.

Not to be morbid, but check with the local animal control to see if they've scraped up something they had a hard time identifying lately.

I love Corgis. I really hope she's found alive and well. Tell your coworker to get it microchipped if it's returned.

Why would someone nab an older dog? Plenty of reasons, companionship, already housebroken, friendly. you're doing the right things. You might add posting a lost sign with photo at local place that sees a lotta traffic, like a local supermarket, or on post them on telephone poles in heavy traffic areas. Perhaps offer a reward.

Good luck

With a unique look like that, it should be found soon.

^ This. Someone took my 13 year old Border Collie. She was friendly, healthy, lovable. Get your signs up soon. I waited about 12 hours too late. I actually talked to someone who had seen her being walked on a leash. If she had known, she would have followed them and called me.
