i slid into a ditch in the rain. now my front passenger side wheel has about -2 degrees of camber. can i fix this without anything major being done. and will a camber kit help this?

camber in our cars is controlled by two things, one being the relation of the spindle to the strut and the other biing the position of the strut mounts in the strut tower.

The only way you can change camber is to change one of these relationships. It is quite possible that you either bent the strut, bent the control arm, bent the strut tower (although I doubt this one), or a combination of the three. Personally I would take it to a reputable place that does alignments and have them check it out for you...

very good. it's most likely that you bent your strut. i did the same except into a curb. bent my tie rod end and strut. good luck on fixing. stay safe :D
