Lost Connection?

The blue box is my fuel filter and the red box shows a plug I found not connected to anything. The plug has two wires coming from it (black and red/blue). I have no idea what the plug goes to, can anyone help?

Kinda looks like the plug the VSS. the VSS wire is long ans runs to that point.

I don't think it's the vss. I check all the wires tied into the plug im asking about and all of them are connected.

ok so i haven't figured it out. I've tried looking at the engine harness in the FSM to figure it out. by its location. but each time its not the same wire colors. Is the connector 3 prong or 2 prong. or more for the matter?

Two prong connector and do you have any other form of contact like an instant messenger?

Sorry i don't have any IM's. And that connector is still getting to me. are you able to undo the electrical tape back some and trace the wiring back. I still cant find anything it should go to. the pickings is limited. maybe more pictures of it . IDK.the only things i can think of in that area are: Alternator, starter, oil pressure switch, IACV, connector for vss. Thats all i can think of electrical wise. Unless its a connector to from engine harness 2 to engine harness 1.

It looks like a plug with a cap on it. If its that one, I found it when I was plugging everything back in after I got my motor in but in my bay it's up behind the passenger headlight. I did move the harness around though...

Anyway, mines just chillin and the car runs, no CEL and everything works the way it should.
