As the title says, we lost another sentra this morning to a guy who's illegally in the United States and I really wanted to arrest him. He rear-ended the damn car and basically totalled it. He's very fortunate my daughter and my woman wasn't hurt badly or today would've been a horrible day for him and his family. No insurance and his license was suspended and he had the nerve to start crying when I pulled out my cuffs and told him that he was illegally in the United States.

Anyways, just wanted to share that piece since I talk so little about what I'm doing with my cars. Big labor set-back for me as I have to find another shell and do this all over again. I'll get around to it when I can find the time amidst my busy life.

Gotta find another shell . Maybe I'll pull the engine out and enhance it some more (think I'll just do that). But as always Ryan, you are a true trooper and thanks for your usual support. Again, when I find some time (whatever that is), I'll build another one or at least focus on my drag sentra a little more. But hell, there's 3 cars ahead of that one, so maybe next year.

Don't worry there are millions of shells in this area ill keep a look out for a clean one for cheap for u if u want.

Dont mean to thread jack but i have some questions.

I live in pemb pines and i just aquired a 90 240sx with a ca.

im new to the ca world but im getting it built because i got it for cheap with a cracked piston.

I want to go with forged pistons, arp head studs, metal head gasket, 256cams, aftermarket valve springs and a little bit of head work.

my question is since u know about ca's, should i go with oversized pistons?

The engine builder will be able to tell you that for sure, but I would doubt that if the motor cracked a piston that the cylinder walls are in good shape. That means that it will need bored and honed, which means an oversized piston. I wouldn't get too crazy with it, just go up maybe .5mm.

Always interested in a good 4-dr B12 shell if you come across one, but if your piston or pistons are damged, it wouldn't hurt to bore the block to accomodate bigger pistons.

glad to hear everyone came out ok, that is the most important thing. If I remember correctly I think there are 3 or 4 Sentras on craigslist in orlando right now for about 500 bucks(or less).

Had a friend a few weeks back get side swiped by a semi in a hit and run. least you got this tard off the road before he did any worse(like kill someone).

hope all turns out well and everyone is safe.

I was looking at that one as well. I may have my woman give these folks a call tomorrow and in the mean time, I'll check around tomorrow to see what I can find. Thanks, bro!

Hey Dee. I don't know if you like the JDM thing. You want me to see if I can get you "sunny" badges?

That'd be sweet brother, but I like them unbadged because some people still can't identify what kind of it is and that's quite sad. However, I do like the grills with the lightning bolt on them. I have one that I've had for years, but another would be sweet as well.

But I really appreciated you coming through and towing it. You saved me a lot of trouble that day kid and for that, I owe you one. You need to stop by and see what I just purchased or just go look in the back yard towards the east and you will see .

Sorry to here about your misfortune Dee; ever thought about building a pulsar? Doubt it cause If your like me your emotionally tied to the sentra as I am to my pulsar. How does your lady feel about getting another @@!#@$ project? Mine has come to accept my insanity but I'm sure secretly she would relish something newer. Anyways, she drives the car she wanted so she keeps pretty quiet. I hope you find a shell that says pick me.

Man, good thing no one was hurt. Hopefully you are able to construct a similar, or even better one on this go round.

Thanks for the sympathy guys. My family is doing pretty good under the circumstances and the car will eventually get replaced, though I had no intentions of changing anything. This will give me a chance to do a few more mods on the physical motor itself including changing over to a 10lb flywheel and the addition of my ported and polished head as the head on it now is just a stocker with heavy duty valve springs and HKS camshafts. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress with the cars, but as of right now, I have X2 S13s that will both be in excess of 350whp ahead of the sentra as well as a 2000 Maxima that will get done-up to be sold, too. My time is limited and that's what's killing me the most.

Dee
