I do not have the hood or bumper on the car and it was left out side during a small rain (not the past couple of days rain) but a small shower that came through about a week ago. I have the battery relocated to the trunk and there is a inline fuse block 100amp underneath the hood on the power wire that runs to the battery. I went to start the car after changing out the timing chain tensioner and the car started for a second, ran a little rough, and I turned the car off. Went to start it again and the car acted like it wanted to start and then it lost all power. This has happened a couple times in the past and it always blows that 100amp fuse so I just replace it with a new one and I assumed that's what happened here. Well I went to change the fuse and it was fine, so I looked over the fuse block and it looks like someone poured salt in it because I think it got tore up in the rain. So I replaced the fuse in it anyways and the power comes on for a second and then nothing, it clicks off just like when the fuse blows. So I go and replace the fuse block and still nothing. I check all the wiring, I check other fuses, I jump start the battery, all to nothing. Is there anything else that I should check that could of gotten wet and made me lose all power? Sorry if this sounds confusing, I'm sort of rushing to get my daughter to bed.
