Nah, didnt lose my car...lost one of my friends for the last 8 years or so through high school and middle school. He hung himself last night while on the phone with his girlfriend for no apparent reason. He was one of my biggest influences and I believe he contributed alot in making me the person I am today. As I think about all that I wonder what it would have been like if he were never here. Anyone else ever go through this with a friend around 20 years old?

shoot man, I'm sorry to hear about that. None of my friends have ever done something so drastic, but many have come close. It's amazing what some people will do when they think life sucks:(

My heartfelt condolensces for both you and his family/friends!

I am sorry to hear that, I have lost a friend. I met him at MOS School and a bunch of us ended up going to Okinawa, We lost touch a little but would end up in the same bar once in a while. One day He was Cutting up old artillery peace and hit a nitrogen shock that he was told was empty. It was not. It exploded taking off his head. Remember the good and the bad.

Ive just been venting all day at everyone who knew him. Its so weird to have someone my age die, you just dont expect it. The tough part is going to be reality sinking in at visitation tomorrow. Anyone who reads this please know suicide may seem like the only way out, but everyone who has ever cared about you or thought of you as a friend would be capable and more than happy helping you through your problems.

You guys dont have to feel sorry or anything, I mostly vented here because I wanted people to think about the people who have made them the person they are currently. Every person you interact with affects your personality. Its good to tell people what they mean to you and how they have positively affected your life because you may not have the chance someday.

Sorry to hear of your loss :( Suicide is definately NOT the way to solve your problems. If only people would understand that there are plenty of people out there that care, and can offer help. My condolensces for everyone close to him.
