I just reweighed my car it seems I lost a 100lbs over stock.3300 auto V6 Altima stock3200 auto V6 Altima Modded

I guess when I think back... exhaust system, rims and tires, grill, and intake must have have been where I lost the weight. I guess that can add up quick but what is scary is I could get my stock Altima down to 3200 so that means I can get my modded Altima down to a lean 3100lbs sweet!!

220whp @ 3100lbs is pretty good. That should put me high 13's with good traction and reaction time.

No offense but I'd have to say thats a little overestimation in my opinion.

Keep in mind that lighter RWD 240's with 220 - 240rwhp run high 13's often.

oh damn then I will tell my friend Jason that his timeslip must be wrong cause he ran a 13.9 and a 13.8 with 2 more poines then me. Hey even if i get a 14.1 I would be happy but I hear what you are saying though.

I hear you and understand but other people are doing it in there altimas.

side note: I should run 260 to the front wheels N/A after all my performance mods are done. So I hope I can really get this going faster with my 2nd job.

2600-2700 lbs if I remember. I am sure someone can chime in a quote the weights of the S-13 and S-14 a little more accurately.

S14 Base - 2760S14 SE/LE - 2850

DE S13 SE - 2830DE S13 Base - 2730

E S13 SE - 2780E S13 Coupe - 2730

My S14 - 2565

These weights sound more accurate to me.

Yeah hes right, its close to 2800 for us. But to the guy comparing the s13's to the altima... i hear what your saying but hes 240-260 n/a... that good power through the whole power band. Turbo cars are plagued by this lag and its uncomparable to good n/a power.

When is an SR ever under 3000 rpms on the track? With a stock turbo you should never see lag, if you do it's because you just bogged the launch.

I'll take a turbo car any day, properly matched in power it will outrun most tuned N/a cars because of it's ability to make midrange power over a high duration n/a motor. There is a difference though when you talk about something on the track where being able to modulate the rpm to your advantage and trying to find a balance in the throttle for a turbocharged car; in that instance the n/a is easier to drive.

N/a will never be better than forced induction.

On something like that accuracy could be +/- 50 - 100 lbs. keep that in mind.

But your rhymes are so blind that they weigh it down time and time again like a bad crime, wasted notion of some commotion ends up gettin your *** in motion to the Po-Po house o' drop-tha-soap locomotion...
