Ok, so its been a while since I really thought about how my car performed. I was in a motorcycle accident and all this **** and I really have been too busy with work and school, or too ****ed up to pay attention to the difference in performance.

anyhow, I think I have a boost leak but I can't tell where its coming from. I know I had some boost leaks when I didn't have the greddy manifold, but it seems like the power loss is worse now.

Oh all error codes read "55" so im assuming that means all is well from what i've heard.

Could it just be that my turbo isn't working as well as before? It still spools and last time i checked shaft play was alright?

Is it possible that my old overheating problem could've effected the engine permenantly?

What are some possible boost leak places I might be overlooking?I have the oil blow by hose hooked up still going to the plastic intake pipe.

I can't rev past like 5900 without hearing the motor kind of ... limp up there, its all good till it gets right around 5700 then it seems as if its having trouble making it there, maybe like its running too rich? make any sense? And there is no power up there in that range.

Check your timing and make sure its set to 15 degrees, i had the same problem, my timing was set to 9 degrees by accident and it did what you're talking about except at 5000 it would start going really slow like it was being held back.

If you had a boost leak, the car would jerk violently as you got INTO boost.

Last time I checked, timing was at 15 degrees...

Redid the gasket on the idle control valve i think its called. It got me a little more power, but it doesn't feel like what it should still.
