Car: 1991 Nissan Maxima GXE Automatic Transmisson

Post

Hi guys, i wanted to ask all you nissan fans out their a question. I got a 1991 nissan maxima gxe. And its the automatic transmission. I have a concern. I can be doing like 45 miles per hour down the road or something. And i can start throttling it. Easing into he throttle i mean. I get it to the point to where its not to the floor but to where it should get the engine to start to get massive power. I can hold the throttle at that spot for like 1 to 3 seconds untill finally the power of the downshift comes and it takes off. It delays to do that. It all depends on the time im driving it, what can cause that? I just changed the spark plugs with e3 diamond fires. And i still dont know why its doing that. What should i do? My engine light is not on or nothing, since its obd one, should i check the ecu wih codes at home?
