Has anyone had issues with loosing the gas pedal?

This is not my first time that this has happen. It's like the computer looses conection with the gas pedal. I have to restart the car and we are good to go. No specific thing to trigger it off. So I am concerned and I would like ot know if it happened to anyone else.

I had it in to the dealer and they said not much. But if it is happening to more then just me, then I will approach them as this needs to be addressed!

Let me know.

Crazy, luckily it is not the brake pedal. You are the one with the high mileage, I think I am going to sell mine when it hits 100K.

have you tried reading the ECU and TCM using consult II or III?

i had similar issues...gt a few fault codes lying in TCM..non DTC detectable by ECU..so no MIL light on...

How much did that cost you or is it considered under 5yr warranty?

Not sure...... prob guessing. But it's a start. They ordered it now..... so I am waiting next time I go into for an oil change.

They also need to change the shifter as there is a broken wire or something and the OD button does not always work.....

A good thing for GREAT customer service from my dealer! lol
