The clutch is hydraulic. check your fluid level and top it off if it's low, but you may need to bleed the system. Or, it may simply be the master or slave cylinder needs to be completely replaced. ----As far as the overheating goes, be careful with that one. The head gaskets in those engines are not forgiving of high temps --- the cause of the cooling problem could be any one of a dozen things, but check for obvious leaks first and work upwards from there. If the temp gauge even teases you that it might go red, shut down IMMEDIATELY, once again, The head gaskets in those engines are not forgiving of high temps.s20700134 wrote:i drive and the clutch is fine, but once i start driving spirited(main duty of the car), i start losing the clutch pedal. the pedal doesnt want to disengage the clutch. when i first start off with the car cold, the engage/disengage point is high in the travel, but when i start pushing it, that point gets really low in the travel(to the point to where its not in the pedal travel at all and i cant put it into gear). oh, and the car overheats and the coolant boils over along with this clutch problem(pretty often). i just got into 240s and this is my first one.
