My car runs good till i hit a corner hard and then it usually cuts out completley for a second or two untill regaining power, what could be causin this? I just recently had a walbro 255lph fuel pump put in by someone and they told me they had to kinda jerry rig it cause the old mounting hardware for the stock fuel pump wouldnt work. He said it would be fine but thats the only thing i can possible think of what might be causing this. Any input is appreciated...

if the problem started at the same time as the fuel pump install, then I think we found the problem, especially if he had to "rig" it, take ti apart and get it in right or not at all!

Its a 1991 300zx TT, haha yeah thats what was leading me to believe that the fuel pump was the culprit. I was just wondering if a fuel pump if installed wrong could cause something like this. would it happen if it werent secured well enough and this would cause it to move around when corning which is why im losin power for a split second when doing this?

hit a corner hard = taking a corner at higher than normal speeds

whatta u guys think about the walbro 255 lph fuel pump? i know its lacking a little as far as hp rating compared to the stock fuel pump but at the time i didnt have 300 to drop on an oem pump.
