if you look closely at the pic you can see that on my car where the hood joins the bumper it is kinda off to the left, it was like this when i bought it, does anyone know what causes this, I was thinking that the whole car might be tweaked or is it just the bumper, how can i tell??

What's the crash history of the car? That's usually a good place to start...? Unless you purchased it when new in 1992.

Or is it just the molded edges are offset, and the outer edges of the bumper in alignment with the fenders.. meaning, the sides are correct, but just the center is off kilter?

Ever dropped your bumper? My bumper is slightly warped from when we dropped half of it when we installed my intake... we were stupid and let it hang a little lower (on paint cans) than the rest of the bumper... I may try to warp it back in place at some point.... cause that gap annoys the poop out of me...

seriously, the one thing I regret most about my car, is the first time I started removing body panels and bumpers. Things have never quite been the same.
