Ok i was driving my car and the one day i turn it off and smoke starts coming out so i pressure tested it and saw a hose that was bad replaced the hose and still the same thing, to give you a idea where it is happening when you open the hood it is in the left corner near the battery under the mannifold. So i was told that it could be the thermostat sticking? any suggestions, its getting bad its pouring coolant on to my transmission making my clutch miss and catch also it mad me put a new altenator in it. Also when my car in not in gear or anything its fine but as soon as i put it in first gear it makes like 50 clicking noises real fast it varies how many times it clicks but it happens it all gears but once i start going in the gear it stops i was told it was the timing belt that it was to loose and needs a new one on there so i bought one, i mean to be honest i dont know when it has been changed so what the hell might as well change it do you think that it will fix it, i have put close to 2k into the car and i know that is what z's are money pits but i just want to finally fix it! So any suggestions on any of this would help.

If you replaced the hose and it didn't fix it, then there is something else going on there. Either you didn't get the hose on correctly, or there is a leak in the metal part.

Someone with practice (any owner enthusiast that has done it before) can do it maybe 4-5 hour for a record time, mechanic will tell you the book price @ 8 or 10 hours so $65/hour for 10 hours you are looking at around $650, these are top prices for Houston Area, your area may be different.
