Loose steering ?

After I make a right turn with complete 2 circle of steering, then return the steering for straightway, everything line up normally. However, after I make a left turn wth complete 2 circle of steering and then retun the steering for straight way, the steering wheel never line up. It will always be 15 degree to the left until I make the next right turn.

I think I noticed this problem when I bought the car and I thought it was just aligment. I have had 2 alignments, includng the one after my recent repir for the track accident, and it doesn' seem to fix the problem.

On the freeway, it run sraight with no pull, no vibration, steering wheel line up. So any idea what am I looking at ? Could it be just something behind the steering column that got loose and need to be tighten ?

Have you checked your steering rack bushings?

Things to check:

Steering rack bushings
Inner and outer tie rods
Steering column ujoint
Steering rack play

Lift the front end and wiggle everything looking for play.

+1 for the steering rack bushings. I'd try to get a flashlight and look for cracks; but odds are they need replacement anyways. ES makes some for cheap, and I just put a pair on my car

The shop that did your alignments should have checked for front end play before they did the alignment, so I would guess the front end is tight. It definitely wouldn't hurt to check though as suggested above.

Do you Still have your HICAS or have you fitted a lock off bar yet?
Ive noticed my car doing a similar thing but it isnt loose for some reason if i boot it my steering wheel will line up whilst doing 50mph+ but below that speed it wants me to steer 15 degrees to the left.
sometimes itll do the opposite when i turn a hard left then centre it but usually its pointing 15degrees to the left.
also looks like the car is crabbing when driving straight. It has had 3 Alignments done.
1 by the last owner when he bought it. 1 after he got aftermarket 18inch alloys. and 1 when i bought it.
Problem is still there lol.
Always feels like its steering from the rear and im correcting it.
