I just replaced my TC Control rods/bushings and I thought it would fix my problem. It definatley fixed the shaking wheel at 50+mph and the hard-to-steer steering. But there is so much play in the steering wheel still. Pulling out of a drive way, its like I have to almost turn the wheel 2 complete times to turn. And when going down the road, I can yank on the steering wheel and turn it a good 2 inches before there is any reaction. Any ideas what else can be wrong and have to be changed? Thanks in advanced for any suggestions.

How are your PS rack bushings? If they are worn they will allow the rack to slide side to side slightly, aloowing the play in the steering to show.

I have also seen the hold downs come loose for the rack on quite a few vehicles.

The easiest way to figure out what is loose is to raise the front end off the ground. Then you can shake the wheel to figure out what is loose.
