so now that my battery issue is solved its time to tackle the speaker issue.

i think it started with a little road trip and some of my gf luggage hitting the speaker on the left in the trunk.

its now becoming very annoying, all heavy bass songs are making it crackle. I took of the carpeting around the speakers in the trunk yesterday and noticied the white mounting clip was loose so i reconnected it to the speaker mount but that didnt solve it.

Im thinking it might be a wire in the speaker unit (not easy to reach) that could be causing the noise.

Do you guys have any ideas as to what is causing it? suggestions on troubleshooting?

lol, good stuff.

seriously though, a beetle??

Say its not a beetle, or any organic lifeform, would a frayed wire or loose wire cause that noise??

Could be a blown speaker too, I wonder if the surround is ripped or torn on it.
