Hi all, handling query here.

95 240 with Ka engine (bone stock and weak), open rear and stock wheel size. I did put BFG KDW 215/50/16's and AGX rear shocks and set at 6. Problem is I can't keep the rear end glued. Even the slightest attempt at a decent turn breaks the rear end loose. My 2001 senta outhandles the 240 SX hands down. I've tried playing with setting on the shocks and lowering the tire press (25lbs seems to be the stickiest) but still drives like a zamboni. Bushings all look good and the front control arms are new (oem) what can I do. I'm thinking of decambering rear by 1/2 degree as it should give more initial bite. 275/35/18's are in the works with the turbo and wider fenders. But untill I come up with the $10K...

Thanks all in advance.

get a VLSD from another 240sx or a J30, it'll give you power to both wheels not not get the rear loose as easier as with open diff.

1) Do you have AGX's on all four corners? 2) Do you still have stock springs? One though I had was that the dampening is too light on the front end. Every time you brake to take a corner all the weight gets shifted to the front of the car. If the dampening is set too lite on the front that takes all the weight off of the rear tyres and you spin out. Stock springs will make it worse since they don't have the force to prevent the shocks from compressing. If you don't have adjustable front struts lower the rear dampening. You were on the right path with taking some air out of the rear tires, but that will make the side walls wobbly.

On a low traction surface (i.e. the street) higher dampening=lower traction and vice versa. On a high traction surface (race track) higher dampening=higher traction only because it results in less body roll and more contact path with the road.

Current setup: Front-Koni Yellow, Rear-AGX, springs-H&R sport, Tyres 215/45-17 Falken Ziex, Open rear diffStreet settings: Front=1.5 turn from full hard, Rear=4Track settings: Front=1/2 turn from full hard, Rear=6

Makes sence. Stock springs with 11 years of sag. Stock front struts although new agx are in the works. I'll lower the rear settings to 3 and see if that helps.

L/S diff is also in the plans.
