Loose Locked Door Handle...Help

Today is Sunday, & I just took delivery of this 2011 Versa Hatch yesterday. This morning I went to open the "unlocked" drivers side door & it would not open. WTF. Not only it didn't open, the handle is "looser" then the others. Opening the hatch now & climbing in, & opening the drivers door, down in the latch mechanism, the small silver hook does not engage or disengage, like it does on the passenger door. Sprayed some WD-40 still nothing. Needless to say, the cars is back to dealer service tommorow, but what the heck is going on with these door handles & HOW TO FIX THEM!

Congrats on the new car

Sorry to hear about the handle problems. I think a couple others have mentioned door handles falling off. Mine's an 08, and I have not had one issue regarding that. It could just be a one off thing. Hopefully that's the only issue you experience.

Took the car into the dealership service...they had to take off the door panel as there is a rod where a ball sits on for the handle, or so I was told, which can freeze up during winter.
