My driver side inside door handle is loose. Its still connected enough to close the door but there is half-inch gap between the handle and the door.

Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions on how to correct?

Side question: please remind me which model year do you have? I think it was a 2003 or 2004 M, right?

You might want to take a look at the Service Manuals on this ... the link is in my sig.

2003.I definitely took advantage of your link. I did some preliminary searching and didn't find much on the inside "pull" handle which is why I reached out to the forum. I'll keep digging

Your problem may be as simple as a loose bolt that holds it in place. It may be in your best interest to pull the panel off and inspect it yourself. I've pulled numerous door panels from Mercedes to Datsuns to resolve such issues. You only expense may be replacing a few plastic clips. good luck.
