I have a 93' 240sx It just started happening today, that when I rev my engine up to about 3K there is a weird Grinding/rubbing sound coming from the area the flywheel is. I drove the car some just to see if the problem would just go away after it warmed up......it didn't.

I tried to see if it was comming from the transmission or the engine, -I pushed in the clutch and revved it up slightly and the sound was still there. I put the engine in myself, and put a better condition Stock flywheel on it, I donno if the flywheel it torqued down to factory specs would this sound be a result of a flywheel???? its kinda loud too, so im not gonna drive it till I know and fix the problem.

----one problem after another(I searched to see if any similar threads were out, i didn't see any so i made this one)

The flywheel may be rubbing the inspection plate. Make sure the plate between the engine and flywheel is flat against the engine and not bowed in at the bottom.
