I have a 91 240 hatch both my doors don’t seem to close tight, when you look from behind the car you can see that the door is not flush with the rest of the body. Is there any way to fix this. I tried loosening the screws that hold the hing and moving it, but when I tighten it back down the hing just moves back to the same place. This really sucks because I get a lot of wind noise on the highway, and water gets inside when I spray the windows.

Could be the Door Strikers, they have a piece of plastic around the bar latch that seems to break. To check roll down the window, and with the door closed see if there is any movement.

Man your in luck, I just fixed this broblem on my car tonight. its actualy the latch on the rear door jam. just loosen the screws holding it to the jam just a little. (make sure you dont strip them out trying to loosen the as they are extremly tight) Keep the latch pretty tight and just tap it over a few millimeters towards the inside of the door jam. and tighten down as hard as you can and presto quite at last.
