Hey I just got my 89 240 sx and showed it to my friend who owns a 95 integra. Well he loved the car but he was shifting and said that the when you push down the clutch its like tight halfway through and u push it a little more and it just falls all the way down kinda. I mean it doesnt stay there, the spring action still works but its loose at the lower end. Also he said my shifter seemed really loose and wobbly in all positions. He said it wasnt bad just different, but I noticed it after he told me. I drove his car and it seems a lot more fun to drive because his clutch has the same tension at all points and his shifter is very tight. Well im kinda new so what would I do to tighten those things..hope this isnt a stupid question.

Comparing an Integra gearbox to anything makes it feel loose, those gears are so darn close together....

The shifter is loose because the bushings are worn, pick up some new ones from Nissan, you can also get Hyper Flex bushings too, I think. My shifter is loose too, I need some bushings. Has anyone done this? Are they hard to put in??

As for the clutch I have no clue. But if anyone else is reading this, my clutch depresses fine, but coming back up it sometimes gets stuck in the middle, then will pop up. It also squeeks a bit. Do I just need to lube it a little??
