What's up everyone. Quick question, the other day I was starting to notice that when I run my car kind of hard (shifting after like 4500 rpm or doing over 90 on the freeway) for any length of time it seems like my clutch pedal slowly gets looser. It doesn't come out all the way and the pressure it takes to put it on the floor is like half of the regular tension. It's a twin turbo in case that matters. Any thoughts?

Check your clutch fluid level, it could either be low or it could be dirty. That would be the first thing I would check. Or your clutch might just be going out. How many miles are on the clutch?

Nissan recommends Dot 3 Brake Fluid for the clutch. My clutch fluid is clear (which most is), but it comes in a few different colors, like I have seen blue and purple clutch fluid, but there is definitely not a brown clutch fluid.

I haven't changed my clutch fluid, but I believe you can attach a hose to the bleeder next to the slave cylinder on the transmission and pump the clutch and all the clutch fluid should drain out.

First off you should change you clutch fluid. Do that buy first hooking a hose up to the bleeder valve that is located up by your HICAS controller. Its between you power steering resevoir and passenger side fender. After you bleed that fluid out, do the same to your slave cylinder.

If you still have the same problem, it could be your clutch booster. You have a clutch booster just like your brake booster. Check the hose going to it and see if its leaking. If you still have the same problem, check the extension on your slave cylinder. If its good I would check out your pressure plate and clutch disc for wear and tear.
