Loose and Grinding into 2nd and 3rd!!!!!!

my gears seem really loose, sometime it feels like i am not even in 2nd but i am that is how loose it gets sometimes, but also sometimes when i shift into 2nd it grinds for like a half sec. and it is some same with going into 3rd. how do i fix??? or do i need a new transmission:(

Does that happen at the moment you start driving or it happens after a certain amount of time?? It might be nice to check your CMC for fluid levels, if low top it off and bleed it, that would be to see if the grinding stops happening... As for the gears being really loose, I can't really help you on that one...
