Engine-SR20DET Blacktop(s13)It all started after I had a bad fuel like leak for about 3 miles from the FPR hose, I have got everything fixed except that now my idle idles high and stays steady at 1.5k or 2k thenafter about 3 mintues when its warm it loops 1.5k up to 2k and back down continiously, drives fine, boosts fine( from the run up the street and back I took) the idle just loops up and down up and down. Now mind you it never did this before, WHat could it be?! Im trying to fix my car to bring up to college with me and I would love to get this issue resolved as soon as possiblethanks guys pleasde help me figure this out

check your throttle position sensor. idk if u took it off during the work or not but make sure that it is set right. and if this isnt the issue. try reflashing your ecu. i believe this can be accomplished by disconnected the negative of the battery. turning your key to start. holding it for about 2-3 seconds. then pulling the keys out and reconnecting your battery back up. and your ecu should have been reflashed. i hope that fixes your issue. but im kinda having the same issue with mine. only my oil pressure drops and my oil temp rises. lol

That's not a reflash that's just clearing the ecu of any stored memory it has.

My SR did this as well the first time I started it up.Then it just did it a second time after a rebuild on the engine. I thought it had something to do with the ecu being disconnected for so long that it had to go through some type of start up procedure.

It only did it for a day and then it stopped doing it.

If not then check your IACV
