Loooking to make a purchase/trade-New to the Scene

Hello! I've always liked 240s, mainly because I see them as a reliable rwd fun car to beat the s*** out of. I've been looking into possible trades for my WRX, but am still not sure what to expect from Nissan. Basically I'm looking for any s13 or s14 hatch with a 5speed. I hear they take swaps well, I know motors are cheap. But I also see a lot around WI with 200+k on the clock...i know w/o a compression test it is impossible to tell, but will I have success purchasing a higher mileage 240? Anything I should look out for when looking at these cars? Parts cheap/readily available? Mod friendly? Those are they type of things I'm pondering...anyone want to convince me one way or another? Thanks!

s14 hatch = s13 hatch? Pffft like miles matter on a 240sx, if you're gonna be swapping engines then it really doesn't matter. Look out for rust spots when looking at s13's, but yeh...there's alot of faqs out there. Just look around on the forums a little.

Welcome to Nico. One thing you must learn though read the s*** out of the stickies, and use the SEARCH options. These guys hate repeating themselves. The thing about two40s is if ya love em then ya love em. High miles, rust, wrecks, these things dont deter us. We grind em, we pull em, we weld em. we drop em and swap em.
