Yeah, I saw that. Too bad it's not an SR peice....no sense in charging CA folks fanboy prices Thing is....to use that peice with a clear conscience you'd need to spring for HKS internals (cams, etc) as well.......otherwise you're not really powered by HKS.

Good find. I've been keeping a lazy eye out for something like this. The price is totally over the top. Especially as HKS accessories are almost completely unavailable these days. I'm sure it will make 2 people happy at least, the seller and the crazy buyer :-)

People buy Expensive stuff all the time, its called taste, and the fact that NONE of you have it (exclusivity).

IMO, you'll probably see it re-listed for $250, then $100. In which case I will outbid you all!

i'll be making them out of stainless soon laureier....ill let you know when i get the first one done. As far as i can tell is as simple as taking a piece the same length as the stocker, putting two 15 or 20 degree bends in it and drilling holes....then finding a way to quickly put vents above each coilpack to keep them cool.

not that simple. take a piece of 16ga ss and set in place, its going to be sunken in compared to the valve covers. youd have to space it out for it to look right..

I LOVE that hotpipe.......any idea what it used to be? (hacked up S13 greddy for example)...or completely custom? I'll be using a greddy S13 hotpipe with S14 turbo and CA outlet on that turbo....so it will arch forward like that on the outlet...and Im not sure the hotpipe will fit. Any thoughts?

haha whats so cool about it? it looks like a custom piece. probably what happened was he has a t28 of some sort with the stock t25 compressor outlet elbow which will c*** it at a different angle. he just made pipes to fit. at least thats what it looks like. i dont even know if i like the look of the coilpack cover. stock is fine with me. wish it were metallic so i could powercoat. as in metallic i mean has metal properties. metalloid, whatever, you get the point

It just looks very clean being parallel to the intake pipe...almost factory except that its polished.

The coil pack cover.....I would buy one if it were 1/4 inch CNC'd aluminum....something with reverse embossed raised letters cut into it "Nissan Turbocharged" or "1.8L Turbo" or something (which could be powdercoated and the top of the letters painted).

Wasn't there a different version of this? I recall another one on Ebay that was going for like 200 but it was a much nicer looking coil cover.

This is like sticking a sticker on your car just WAAAAYYYYY more expensive.
