Looks like someone tried to break in to my car

I was walking out to my car in a mall parking lot last week when I saw that the plastic piece around the door lock was lying on the ground. I picked it up and noticed that it had some scratches on it and was a tad bent. It also looked like the clip on the back has broken. It looks like someone tried to pry it off with a screwdriver.

The rest of the car is fine and it was not broken into, but now I have to replace that little piece of plastic.

There are some cars that allow easy access to teh car by removing that piece. From the looks of it, they did a good job in protecting the lock mechanism.

wow....we have alot of cars come in that were broken into..most of the time its windows broken or headlights for the hid's. if you need that part number usually its vin specific cause of the color and i can get it if you need it

I need a bright red '03 coupe front bumper filler plate (where the license plate goes) Any idea where I can get that, the dealer told me they only come in black plastic.

lol so many thread jackers...

umm...i didn't think the 03 coupes had a spot on the bumper for one...only thing i've seen on 03 coupes are holes from where ppl drilled holes in the bumper

It's there - same part# as the '04, '05, etc. I just cant find one that is already red.
