Looks like my projects gonna start a lil sonner than i exspected.

So I bought my Q about 3 months ago now, its been in the family, and its in good shape mostly. its a salvage due to the fact that my grandfather backed into stuff several times, But the chassie is solid and no signs of cracking, bending or additional damage to the.

So I went to investiage a leak and found that its leaking oil around the timing chain cover aswell a pin hole in some of the external lines on the power steering and an internal powersteering link so looks like i am gonna pull the engine earlier than i wanted to.

After reading the posts of several members twin turbo engine projects its really tempting for me. Would love to have the power. But i am unsure what all i need to do to build the engine to take that. Aswell as the fact i want to hopefully road race this car in nevada next year.

Very diffrent project for me usully I am working on and building drag cars with pushrod engines. So Dual overhead came v8's and the additional levels of complexity are new to me but not scary.

I figured i would post since you guys might have some good suggestions for me about the overall project of even specific things.

All I can say is, if you're going to make a race car out of it anyway, pick up a 5.6 for it and TT that baby. I researched the idea a bit, but didn't have the $$$ for it (of course...).
