Looks like my ca18det starter is going to fit my sr20det clutch just fine because of the way the ORC single plate is designed.

Yup that design eliminates the interference typically encountered with an SR clutch and flywheel.

So can we concur that other SR clutches of the same design (OSgiken for example) would then clear as well?

I'd assume that they'd fit no problem.

Damn, thats nice.

I was going to buy an exedy single plate for SR when I get a nice clutch anyway, nice to know these work. I really need to keep an eye on ebay.

It's all SR.....this design clutch has a flywheel with fingers (think of the "battlements" on castles



....that hold all the plates and disks together inbetween the flywheels and the pressure plate. The sprocket shaped plates fit inbetween the "battlements" and create a place for the middle discs to grab in a multiple plate clutch.
