Well, something gave in my SR, and I've got 30 psi compression across the board, so it has come out and I'm doing a mild rebuild on it. Well, I got to thinking, I've got this S14 laying around not really getting driven since I got my company van, and I much prefer it to the vert (sorry guys, I'll always be a 14 lover at heart).

The vert just needs so much to get it where I want it, 5 lug swap, front end conversion, then paint, then replacing the top, and even then the seals will most likely still leak.

so I'm most likely going to be selling the vert as a shell, along with my Enkei's. It'll have the S14 seats, the digital cluster, and all that jazz still.

I need to nab everything off of it that I want, then I'll put it up for sale officially, just wanted to give you guys a heads up first. btw, I'm in the birmingham, al area if anyone's interested in it.

Sounds like you made a decision that's best for you. Vert is hard to keep up with, and it's easier if you buy another one in better condition and go from there. Still nice verts show up from time to time, so... Good luck with everything, but I wish you get something like this one and continue with your fun with a vert.

eh, I already have it, as a matter of fact, it was the first 240 I ever got.

Kouki > all. except maybe an S15. I get TONS of compliments in it, besides, I drive my car for me.

Honestly, the only thing a new vert would do for me is keep me from having to change the top and MAYBE the rear quarter. I'd still want a front end conversion, and a paint job, and 5 lugs.

My plan was always to swap the kouki, but needing a daily driver at my previous job, and having a second car that didn't work already, well the answer was obvious.
