I just finished purchasing a boost controller, fuel pump, safc2 etc for my car but before I turn the boost up I want to make sure I have the engine running nice and cool. Summer is coming and it gets ruthless in south florida.

Right now I'm planning on getting a Koyo radiator from wiredspeedlabhttp://www.wiredspeed.com/stor...q=&Tp=

and use these fans (i'm supposed to use 12' i hope)http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW

I'm getting the mounting kits from jcwhitney and a greddy or nismo cap.

Am I forgetting anything or should that just about do it?

Well a buddy of mine has been using koyo for a while and he never had any problems with a water outlet or any aspect of it for that matter. If anyone has had any experiences with this please post tho.

Now what he did point out is how I would get my fans connected. I suppose I'll try to search to see how others have connected their fans, but if that fails I'll be back.

koyos work fine...and the only reason i can think of for the cracking is someone going wrench happy on tightining down the clamp...but get the Koyo...theyre bomb ***...ive had one in my sileighty since last summer...NEVER had a problem with the car overheating with this thing...and im talking serious track time as well

awesome what fan set up are u using? do u have the stock or electric fans?

I've been searching and reading that most people feel that electric fans don't compare to stock. Would it be best idea to get the koyo and use the stock fan? ( is that even possible?)

You can use the stock fan and shroud with the Koyo no problem. It does flow quite a bit and you shouldn't have any cooling problems as long as you have the shroud.

im using my stock SR clutch fan and fan shroud setup with the stock 91-94 S13 electric fan (its wired to a switch....only time i turn it on im doing lap after lap at the local drift events...but for the mose part i never touch it cause its only good to 45-50mph...the koyo and clutch fan handle the heat just fine though)

a shroud is the black plastic thing that covers the fan right? If so I can just use the shroud and fan I have now with the koyo radiator just fine then, right?
