Can you guys help me decide on a fair price to sell it for privately?Venom Red, SL AWD, 17k. Sunroof and premium package. Help!?!?

Ah, 17k miles. I missed that. I would say somewhere in the low $20ks. $22k would be reasonable, IMO.

if you really wanna sell quick i would say 19-20k max ... i would say 22k is too high, as you can almost get a new one for that.

plus 17k miles is kind of high for a car less than a year old.just my opinion.

If everything runs fine, you are probably looking at an asking price of $22,000 and sold price at $20,000 to $21,000.

Thinking the car cost you $25,000 after tax and all, a good 7% depreciation the moment it left the lot, with 17K miles on it, knowing there has to be a reason you are selling a one year old car…I wouldn’t pay more then 20K for it. (this is just me of course...)

Thank you thank you! I was thinking much less so I'm glad I asked! Yes, it's a lot of miles for a year old, two kids in two schools in two different directions can do that to a mom

I'm only selling because I need something bigger, it's nothing personal against the car. But I do agree that if you can buy brand new for low 20s why spend on a used.

I'm in the Atlanta area, and as far as I know there is only 1 used Rogue available around here. It's 2008/S/AWD/Venom Red/20K miles/Black Cloth interior and it's listed for $16998 at a dealer. They are rare used, so you stand a good chance at getting what you want. With yours being an SL w/moonroof, I would say anywhere from $18-19K would be a fair private party price.

No way can anyone buy a new SL AWD w premium package (but no leather package) for low 20s. That is about a 25k car new. Take 20% off for depreciation and mileage and you are at 20k. Your car still has a lot of warranty left on it and if there are no dents or scratches just aask $21,500 on Craig's List and be prepared to negotiate down to 20k. This is a VERY desireable car in today's market. If you are patient you will get what you ask.

For what its worth I just bought a 6 month old Rogue AWD SL with leather in mint condition from a dealer, 6,500 miles for $23,068 out the door.

**** sales tax was not charged as the car was shipped out of state

I'm always curious as to why people sell their practically new cars. What's your reason?
