Hey I am wanting to sell my 98 Q45 but cant really find the right place to do it. it's on Craigslist and Mautofied but is Stock aside from double din radio so nothing doing on Mautofied.

I looked at a few of the ones that were for sale on the Nico classefieds but not a single one of them even had a reply of any kind!
Anyone know of a better option or someone wanting one for a good price?

Thanks!

You might search completed listings on eBay to see how they're selling there...

Try posting your car on Autotrader, Vehix or on Cars. If your car is priced on point, has low mileage and is in good condition and if someone is in the market for a Q45 like yours. You may be able to sell your Q45 within a short time frame. I sold my Q45 (F50) on Autotrader in two weeks.

Thanks for ideas. It does have 160,000 miles on it but it's in awesome shape. Of course people don't really care. No one can see past miles..
Does 4,000 sound like to much??
I will give a couple of those a shot though definitely.

Thanks again!

Go to any of the following websites and self appraise your Q45. Edmunds, KBB, NADA then price your car $500 - $1,000 below the booked value. If you aren't in a rush just price your car based on the results you get and see what kind of interest you get. You can then adjust your price every month from there to make it more attractive to a potential buyer.

Go up to autotrader and put in a range of 97' to 2000' Q45's and put no geo limits. If you do that right now there are only two, one is 11k, but the guy is a crazy man with 26" rims etc. Keep searching other sites to see what they are selling for, at this point 4,200 list and try to get 3,800 given what you've told us about the car.

Once again I appreciate the help. Yeah I have seen ones like mine going for around 4500 to 5500. I would probably take 3800 for it though. I have it on Craigslist at 5500. I'll bring that down. But here's the post with a few pics..

Its weird that no one is interested init given there are so few for sale.

Late model luxury cars with high mileage and V8 engines aren't easy to sell right now. To a potential buyer this car spells money pit. You're going to have to hold out until you find an informed buyer.

Is your lien holder a local bank/credit union? If so call them to find out how fast they will release the title upon payoff? Do the same if your lien holder isn't local. If you have a local lien holder explain this in your CL Ad to reduce buyer concerns. Many buyers shy away from cars with a lien holder because of the waiting period and potential risks involved. Clearly address the lien holder matter in your Ad to help build buyer confidence.

I suggest you also use Autotrader or the like so you can reach out to would be buyers throughout the country. I had people from all over the U.S> calling about my car. Your CL Ad is going to work against you for a "quick" sale.

Or find a good consignment lot, that works welll too. As was stated, older V8 cars with the price of gas aren't flying off the shelf.....but Craig's list is for sure not the way to sell this. Autotrader as recommended or find a good consignment guy. I did that with my wife's 99' Sentra, could have gotten $3500 for it by myself, took $2,900 and has zero hassle.
