Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I have decided to sell my 1987 300ZX. I am the original owner. No accidents, although the bumper was hit recently while the car was sitting in the driveway. Below are the specifications. I live in the Hudson Valley in NY. I am not sure how to go about selling and what price to ask. This looks like a good place to get information. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Make/Model/Trim: 300ZX GS 2-Seater
Year: 1987
VIN: JN1HZ14SOHX-213272
Mileage: 149,709
Engine Type: 3.0 Liter OHC EF1 V-6
Transmission Type: 4 Speed Automatic
Options: Electronic Equipment Package
Modifications: None

Any Included Parts: New battery

Flaws: After driving, care will not restart for a few hours, but after sitting runs well. Driver’s side window has no power, driver’s seat has no power, and radio does not work. Rust spot on rear passenger side and rust on the inside in the hatch.

I am not sure. Someone sent me a link to hagert.com that says for fair condition it is worth $7900 and for good condition it is worth $13800. Someone else just sent me a bunch of links, so I will check them out. I am not trying to be difficult, just trying to find a fair price. Thanks.

Being in NY will hurt the value a bit, but other than that, I'd look at what comparable cars have sold for recently.

Hagerty's tool is helpful, but as we all know, your car is WORTH exactly (to the penny) what someone just paid you for it.

List it a grand over the market and be prepared to negotiate professionally with any serious buyers.

Here, this should help: https://datsunforum.com/selling-on-brin ... -tutorial/
