My wife and I are looking to sell out 94 Q. It needs work; tune up, fuel pump replaced, gas leak under plenum, driver window regulator, and the interior is not in excellent shape. My question is how much should we ask for. I think it might be a good project car and will run great once all this is done. Wife says it works great in town, just to afraid to take on the freeway, and horrible gas mileage. Thanks for the help.

If the cosmetics are not in good shape and it runs bad, prob ask $1000 and hope for 500

Have you considered parting it out?

I need to leave the state next week. And our apartments won't let a nonop car sit around.

donate to charity for a small tax writeoff, they will come tow it - trying to sell will most likely prove a tedious experience, especially dealing with the idiots you get from craigslist, etc.

Yes, I second the notion to charity the car.

Thank you all for your help. I think I may charity the car, I need to speak with my wife first.

it is very easy, and if sells for more than 500 they give you additional write-off, but given your description 500 sounds about right.

I am all for giving it to charity, but we can really use the money. We managed to sell it tonight in less than an hour with a craigslist posting. We got the full 1000.
Thank you all for you help and opinions, it is appreciated.
