I have a 2001 I30 my lower control arm brushings are taking a s***. Is it better for me to change the upper and lower at the same time?

So what are really good brushings to use for my lowered wit KYB's and eibach's 2001 I30

Go with Energy Suspension for sure.

Part Number

That is that ES website...I don't think you can order from there but it gives the part number for you.

Good luck!!

Is there any reason i shouldn't do this if my LCA bushings are bad?

Is there a benefit to replacing the whole LCA with a stock replacemernt?

Aren't the OEM bushings of crappy quality if you get OEM control arms? Maybe get polyurethane bushings?

That is what I am debating. Is there any reason the Poly bushings wouldn't fix the problem? Does it require special tooling to install the new bushings? Am I missing anything. Sorry if it has been covered. I have tried searching and this is where it has led me.

You should be fine using the Energy Suspension bushings. A good site is www.suspension.com, then click on the ES banner on that page.

Just be sure not to press out the LCA bushings, it could distort the collar. Burn the factory bushings out over a bucket of water.
