Looking to Rebuild a transmission...Any Suggestions

Hey, ive noticed that my synchros' (ignore spelling) for all but first are out. I was thinking about rebuilding my transmission but i wasnt sure how much of a process it was and if its better to leave it to the professionals. Also does anyone know any good sites for kits and any other parts ie clutch's, short throw...

You should leave that to the pros. There are alot of small parts you need to keep track of and some specialized tools you'll need.

Short shifter, search. Clutch, search. Discussed many times over on NICO.

ive rebuilt a few ka trannys, i wouldnt recomend doing it unless u have a shop press. Like 180 says you do need a few specialty tools. BTW if u do do it...dont get aftermarket synchros. I have personally seen 2 trannys come back apart because the synchros didnt fir right. Factory Nissan is where its at.
