I'm interested in buying a 95-98 240sx...There seems to be a difference between 95-96 and 97-98 .. Which shoud I go for?

Are there any problems in these cars that you guys have experienced that I should worry about?

Do I need to get JDM engine to have the turbo,, or can I buy a bolt on turbo kit?

Any input on this is greatly appreciated thanx.

Oh sh.it, here we go. Please read the f.a.q. and use the Search button at the top right of the screen. You can also look for cars in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum on this board and http://www.autotrader.com.

......civic dx. Come on man they rock! :yesnod ;)

1. Either one. The 97-98's have a cooler looking front/rear end and more profound sideskirts. Engine is the same though.

2. Nothing but the usual wear of parts. My old 89 (160,000+/- before I smashed it into the interstate wall :( )had like 3 problems. Brake master cylinder, had to rebuild the calipers, and replace the center bearing in the driveshaft. My sisters 92 honda accord had 540,000 problems.

3. You can turbo any car, as to how well they will handle being boosted is a different story. The KA seems to go both ways. With a solid rebuild and not outragous boost I would think it would be fine. (but then again what do I know, heh)

Wow, haven't been that nice in a while :icesangel

I like the 97-98 front lip with the side skirts and other stuff.I believe that the 91-94 are easier to swap in an SR than 95-98. but I like the look of the 97-98 the best.
