Looking to puchase a 03 M45

I just found this forum today. I have found a 03 M45 with 26k miles for $21k. The car is very clean and has everything but the tech package, even has SAT radio, something I rarely see on 03's. I have read a lot of the newbie post, so I now about the oil consumption. As far as the trunk, i don't fully understand the issue to look for. Also should I get the extended warranty from Nissan? What are the terms of that factory warranties? And finally is there anything else I should be looking for. I was not really in the market to buy to car right now, GTO lease up in 6 months, but finding one with the options I wanted and low miles and right price does not happen everyday.

The car is great and something to think about, just because one person has a certain problem doesnt mean it is a weak part on the car. Ask to see the service history on a printout if you are worried about its history. I have said many times before, I ALWAYS recommend a warranty, factory or aftermarket, on every luxury car because even when one or two things need to be fixed, it usually pays for itself. Just make sure it covers everything that you may be worried about, they are all different in coverage items and another rule of thumb, you get what you pay for.I hope you find one that tickles your fancy, it is a great car!Cheers

hmmmm!!!! someone please create a "STUCK" at the top of the M45 section that includes every educated answer on "Oil Consumption" Lately, that has been the number 1 question from new members.

I think it would help more if we put OIL and not OLL, that kind of sounds hillbilly-ish. LOL
