After receiving a GT3582R for basically free, I've decided to sell my SR20DET motorset with all it's goodies and go RB. I am located in Eastern Pennsylvania and I am looking for reputable JDM engine importers for finding a good and solid motorset to start with. I am in no rush simply because I know taking my time will produce a better end result. My questions are....

Would it be better to just buy an entire motorset or work my way from a block and build up, then source everything?

Again, reputable shops to pick up an entire motorset?

What kind of things I should keep an eye out for and etc.

I already plan on going with the Syko performance mounting kit in my S14. I also plan on sending the harness out to have the wiring done. Basically all I'm looking for is incite and advice on how to approach this the RIGHT way.

Read the stickies, the motor set supplier feedback information is in there.

Don't cheap out on parts. Stick with the good stuff and you'll have a lot fewer headaches.

Welcome to the club and remember to search because nearly everything has been covered at some point or another.

Thanks man. And I mustve skipped over that stickie. And yeah being cheap isn't an option with this build.
