Looking to get a Remote Start.

Hey guys, this is my first post in this forum, and i must say there are a lot of members in here i have never even heard of, so hello to you all.

The reason i'm in here is because i want to get a remote start system for my girls car. It's a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE Auto

My questions are what exactly do i need to make it all work. So far i have two things in mind, the actual remote start which i have picked out. The Valet 561R and then the bypass because her car has the GM pass key III anti theft system.

Now besides those two things, what else do i need, and no i won't be installing this myself, i just want to take everything to a shop and have them do it.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

That's pretty much all your going to need. That's a relatively easy car to install on so there shouldn't be any surprises.

As converted said, that's pretty much everything. The shop you take it to will have any other little things..... wire etc.

Please take it to a reputable shop and not the big chains. Big chains usually have inexperienced installers due to high turnover.
