Hello everyone!

I'm looking to buy a z32. The one I'm looking at is a 1990 NA has 155k miles on it. The current owner doesnt know or wont say when the last belt service was. I ran a Autocheck VIN check and it shows the last title change was at 98k miles. So my question is if it didnt get its 120k service should I be worried about driving it home (300 miles) being overdue 35k? I have no problem doing the belts myself but just dont want to loose the motor before i get it done.

Thanks!!

I had similar, I bought a car with unkown condition timing belt and drove ti 400 miles home, first thing I did was the timing belt along with the tensioner, idlers and stude, the idlers both had bad bearings, it was only a matter of time till one of them locked and took out the motor, don't abuse it till you replace the belt and plan on doing the tensioner and idlers as well
