looking to BUY!

hey guys i found a pretty looking 97 J30t with 97K miles on it for about 3k in my area. the interior is damn near perfect. seats a clean n soft and not even the elbow rub on the doors.everything works which is great so no complaints there.

my only concern is the maintenance........the guy says that it has been running fine and he has basically only used it in the city (DC)the last time the car has seen the shop was at about 70k miles and the only thing they did was a basic tune up.since it is in such a good cosmetic condition i would hate to FUBAR it by neglecting it mechanical maintenance.

so my question is..........when do the 97 j30t's have to go in for the big stuff like timing belt, water pump, oil seals, other belts .....etc?

and second, if there is anything else i should be looking out for that i may have not thought of.

Timing belt is due at 105K miles.I also replaced the Thermostat , Water Pump, and Tension/Idler pulleys while I had it apart.Be aware there a No aftermarket struts for the J.All four corners is a tad under 600 Bucks.Plus all the Rubber suspension parts are surely worn by now.
