A dealer will definitely charge you a lot. But I agree they do look a lot better than the stock 17's.

my dealer wants $285.75 a piece. w/ tires and lugs, it comes out to just under $2800. is this a good price? i think they're too much, but i have no idea about rims.

Just under $2800... that's some pretty expensive rims and tires my friend. If anything buy the rims then get some other tires that are better and cheaper. If they are charging you around $300 per rim, that should come to around $1200. Then I think the tire sizes are 235/45/R18. But I priced out some 18's for my car and a shop told me if it would be around 800 after taxes. That seems really expensive to me. Also the tires they would give you would only be all seasons anyways. . Then I priced out tires the same size for 1200 after balancing and installation it would come to $2000. That's for 235/45/R18 street performance tires and 18 inch rims. I think the dealership is over pricing them... But not that it's a surprise or anything.

Note: This is all Canadian pricing.

what's wrong with all season tires? but yea. i was talking to a couple of my friends who got rims and tires all forright around a grand. its ridiculous that the dealer charges so much. seeing as they get so much money from the cars themselves. highway robbery.

Never, ever, go to the dealer for wheels and tires.... go to a proper wheel/tire or performance shop. The dealers make a killing on tires and and even bigger killing on wheels!

Occasionally, dealers have fairly good package deals on things like winter rims and tires, but they aren't gonna give you a deal on stock 18" rims.

My dealer quoted me $620 per rim, no tire, no TPMS, just the rim only and that was for the 17x7 SE rim, they do not have the 09 ones in the system yet to order, for some reason.

Orangeville Nissan had 16" steel wheels with 215/60x16 Nokian Nordman-2s for about $850 (installed) last November. Since it was almost impossible to find winter tires around here last year (remember Quebec's new winter tire law?), I snapped up a set. Glad I did, they're quite good!

What are they trying to sell you for $2300???

Like I said though, I wouldn't normally go near the dealer for wheels or tires.
