I've bounced back and forth between the three models. Any recommendations on what to look out for? I'm looking at 06-08 M's and 07-08 G's.

What are my chances on getting these cars under blue book? I've driven an 07 M35 with Nav. They are asking $29,500, seems high to me.

Also, will the remaining factory warranty automatically carry over or is the salesman blowing smoke?

That's way too much for an 07. You can get an 08 for less the that. Just do a few searches and it won't take long to figure out where you should be on price. Keep in mind there are a lot of different packages on the Ms, so just comparing year to year and mileage to mileage is not a good comparison.

factory warranty will transfer. 29,500 depends on the mileage. over 20k i would think that is kinda high based on what some of the people on here have been posting lately, but I haven't looked myself.

From my experience with the loaner G35 and my M35:-G35 feels faster because it is lighter and geared differently (maybe)-G35 rides a lot more rough (or has awesome sporty suspension depending on your point of view)-G35 is not as polished on the interior, I think it looks kind of cheap now that I have had my M for about 6 months.

If you plan on having the M for a long time past the warranty, then youshould definately consider the Infiniti Elite warranty ( you can search this site for tons of info on this). This is mainly because there is so much technology in these cars that would be costly to fix out of warranty, but I am unaware of any major overall issues.

Some small issues that I have read about w/ M35x-some sort of "grinding/moaning" noise when backing up with the wheel turned right first thing in the day. This seems to be one of those things that doesn't really cause problems, but a lot of people ask about.

-Some of the 06 for sure (not sure about newer models) have some Bluetooth clarity issues. I took mine in and they fixed it under warranty.

-The stock tires SUCK (Goodyear Eagle RSA). Search this site for tramlining and you will see what I am talking about.

That is all I can think of at this time. Good luck driving that price down.

P.S. Welcome to the forum, which is a benefit of any of the cars you listed.

$29,500 for an '07 M35 with NAV?? Unless it has zero miles, that price is ridiculous. I got my '07 M35 Journey/NAV with 27k miles for $23k plus fees, and that was with brand new tires on it, window tint, and an absolute flawless body, interior, and paint.

WOW.

Looks like I'll have to make a trip out of state to find a reasonable priced model.

I'm going to drive an M45 this week. That big of a difference?
