Yes, I've searched, and I realize this post comes up every so often.

But dealing with replacing my suspension, and it looks like I'll be going with Tokicos for struts to convert my car back to standard (until I switch up to a different coilover setup), but I don't want stock height.

Looking ASAP for a set of Espelir or California Customs Springs, or any other brand that would give the same drop.

Thanks,Brendan

Let me check the garage, I think I have a set of Cal Customs.

How outrageous is shipping BC from the US?

How quick is "right away"?

Hey what else do you have Rex because you said you would put all your Q45 stuff up for sale on January?

How are you going to go through the snow with a lowered car?

The same way you go through potholes and over rough roads.....poorly and with greatly decreased ride quality with no real benefit to handling.

Doesn't a lower car equal a lower center of gravity meaning better cornering and handling?

search q45techs many posts on this subject if you want to understand the miniscule difference lowering springs deliver VS the long list of negative tradeoffs.

Thanks Rex, I sent you an email. Still waiting to hear from audiovisionary about the espilirs, but if they are the same as elwessos then they might be gone...

Try here: http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/

or look at some importers like you know.

But I take it you want them cheap right.

And Qship these are the only topics I found where Qtech mentions that camber and alignment specs are the only one affected at the most.

Thanks for the link...I would check the auction site but I don't have the luxury of time right now unfortunately.

I'll be getting adjustable front upper arms to deal with camber and a full 4 wheel alignment when they're on.

Once the weather turns nice enough, I'll get out there and see what all I have. I'll create a proper For Sale thread when I do.

I have a set of these springs in my basement, and a set of Tokico blue shocks. The springs are the earlier brand that most folks used - don't recall the brand at the moment. I bought these for my 1990 and never got around to installing them. Then later, I re-built the entire suspension and used a different set of tokico's. So, I have no use for them at the moment. My other Q also has new Tokico's that won't need replacement for awhile.

And if that's not enough, wait till you find the post that calculates the improvement at 2 hundreths of a G in lateral force.

Tires, as Q45tech notes, will make a lot more differencs.
