That may be new for a 'G' but Borla has been making exhaust systems for many other vehicles including some very custom cars out of a certain California speed shop.

Well yes...

I was referring to the new system designed specifically for the 08 G35 sedan model.

Just pointing out that what may follow your post is a bunch recommending something else. Borla has a very good reputation and the typical comment about sounding like a 'ricer' doesn't have to hold true with Borla.

Also something not often metioned is how a system sounds 'inside' the car versus 'outside'. This brings up an issue when listening to sound clips as these are with maybe a very few exceptions - outside.

When I installed a custom 'dual' system on my Chrysler I had a shop that insisted on trying multiple collector back combinations. I am glad they did as 2 out of the 3 systems that we tacked on put out an annoying resonance inside the car at various rpms, although outside the car I preferred them.

Try Turner Motorsports in Amsbury, Ma. They are the biggest distributor of Borla Systems. Ask for Kevin Foote.

I had Borla exhaust on my Audi. It sounded great, never heard it on the G35 but I can almost guarantee quality. I had no issues with my bolt on system from Borla..perfect fit. I myself went with Nismo exhaust on my G35 coupe. Got the full cat back off a wrecked 350z with about 15K miles on it for dirt cheap

I've heard the Borla on a G35...didn't care for it. Not really a good sound from a V6. Borla sounds much better on V8's.

If you have $$, get the HKS. Best CAT-back you can get. The Stillen is cheaper but still sounds great.
