hi i have a 1992 se-r with a knock in the engine that was given to me. do you think it's better to go with jdm engine or just fix the one that i got? if it's better to go with a new engine and anyone knows where to get one pretty cheap please let me know.(usdm or jdm)

a little about me, i have a 1990 celica all trac which is all wheel drive turbo and belong to alltrac.net for 2 years. i also use dsmsource.com for a few months now for my 1997 gst. any info is greatly appreciated!

It'd probably be easier to just get a new engine. There's a thread in the Sentra section explaining what your options are as far as engines go.

Unfortunately soko in Chicago has gone out of business. The other shop is still active on the west coast though. Seems their prices were a bit higher back in the day when I did price quotes. Check out http://www.tigerjapanese.com. They are selling turbo motors for 800-900 dollars.
